I LOVE THIS FLOWER & I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH!
One of my favorite focal dahlias. It’s a big 5-7” bloom and a TOTAL show stopper. Scaur Swinton is tall, so will need taller stakes, but it is a very reliable bloomer. Cut it hard. Trust me. In the second picture it is in the upper right hand corner. Summer Dreams Farm describes it as salmon, but for me it’s more of a rosy pink. It’s an heirloom and comes out of the UK!

- Note: The tubers are very delicate on this variety. Longer necks mean more than average breakage. You need to dig and lift with care. This year, I divided them in the field in order to prevent the longer necks from breaking. I love this variety so much, I am willing to go the extra mile! This is also likely the reason why it is a little bit harder to find.
